Owara Kaze-no-Bon Festival

Fantastic dancing and paper lantern decorations
Owara Kaze-no-Bon is a nationally recognized festival, which has been held continuously for about three hundred years. The festival is held in Yatsuo, a rustic old town nestled in the southern mountains of Toyama City. During the festival, as many as 200,000 sightseers visit the town. Combining high-pitched vocals, shamisen playing (3-stringed Japanese guitars) and more, this folk dance always fascinates onlookers.
